Lola Happy.
Lola's family says: Things are going great. It was love at first sight. We love her more and more every day! She is the greatest dog and fits right in with us. You told us she was sweet, but she is the most affectionate dog ever! She is doing great socializing with other dogs and has been on a weekend trip to my parents house and a day trip to Long Beach for a doggy date with her new friend, Jasper (a rescue from LA county shelter). Next week we are all going camping and a road trip up to Oregon! She loves the car and is a great travel companion. We just wanted to tell you "thank you" again for rescuing her and fostering her. We have been telling everyone about and all the great work you do. Lola is such a gift for us and brings us so much joy! --- Tina and Brian

Griffin is a very happy dog that loves long walks, playing with his toys, or sticks he finds outside. Griffin is very friendly and loves attention. He has helped us to enjoy the little things in life, and has shown us how to have more fun and relax! Thank you Animal Advocates of the US for helping us to find Griffin!"

CHIHUAHUA RESCUE!
230 Chihuahua's rescued to date.
AAOFUS works together with Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue group in Calgary, Canada. Every month we fly about 6 Chihuahuas. These dogs, often neglected and mistreated, are rescued from very sad situations in Mexico. Chihuahuas are very hard to place in Southern California, but in Calgary there is a long waiting list of potential owner's waiting for their Chihuahua. We are proud to announce that we are on Chihuahua 78.... We are always in need of small sweaters, small collars, blankets and carriers big enough to put two 7 lbs. Chihuahuas in so that they can turn around and stand up. For donations please contact us.

Every day, our volunteers drive from the United States to Mexico to help feed, give water and basic medical care to more than 300 street dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that are temporarily sheltered at the Mexican dog pounds ("Perreras"). With this joint US and Mexican effort, many of these animals receive humane and compassionate care. However, we need more volunteers in the United States and Mexico to continue our campaign to provide humane care for street dogs and cats who struggle each day for food, clean water and a warm, safe place to sleep.
Your secure, tax-deductible Paypal donation will help us continue our daily care of the animals. Please help!
