| 200-300 Street Dogs and Cats Get Food, Water and Basic Medical Care Each Day in Mexico! ----- 6,000 Per Month! |
Every day, our volunteers drive from the United States to Mexico to help feed, give water and basic medical care to more than 300 street dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that are temporarily sheltered at the Mexican dog pounds ("Perreras"). With this joint US and Mexican effort, many of these animals receive humane and compassionate care. However, we need more volunteers in the United States and Mexico to continue our campaign to provide humane care for street dogs and cats who struggle each day for food, clean water and a warm, safe place to sleep.
Your secure, tax-deductible Paypal donation will help us continue our daily care of the animals. Please help!

CHEWIE SURVIVED THE STREETS . . And now needs a forever home
Chewie survived starvation. Chewie was found roaming the streets of Ensenada, filthy, underweight, matted and with a severe case of conjunctivitis. These pictures were actually taken after he was cleaned up a little. We sadly found out that Chewie was blind and a very sad dog. We decided to treat him, clean him up and feed him and if he was going... to go to heaven it would be with dignity. To our surprise Chewie turned out to be the "happiest dog on earth" He loves his foster home and all his foster friends. He plays nonstop, chews on his raw-hides for hours and he is just a super happy dog waiting for his forever home. He is only a year old and enjoys every second of his new life. Someone out there will be very lucky to adopt such a wonderful and loving dog!

CHIHUAHUA 78!
AAOFUS works together with Rocky Mountain Rescue group in Calgary, Canada. Every month we fly about 6 Chihuahuas. These dogs, often neglected and mistreated, are rescued from very sad situations in Mexico. Chihuahuas are very hard to place in Southern California, but in Calgary there is a long waiting list of potential owner's waiting for their Chihuahua. We are proud to announce that we are on Chihuahua 78.... We are always in need of small sweaters, small collars, blankets and carriers big enough to put two 7 lbs. Chihuahuas in so that they can turn around and stand up. For donations please contact us |
